“Dev, we will come to your place at 2 PM sharp. I’ll bring the movie along with me!” said Abhi.
They were five and were friends since their kindergarten days. Dev, Abhi aka Abhinav, Raghav, Aditya and Robin were going to appear for their SSC exams that year. Recently, they went to watch an English movie at the nearby multiplex. All five of them dropped their jaws whenever a steamy scene came up on the screen. They stared at the screen as if any moment their eye balls would fall off from the sockets!
After the movie, they went to a near by coffee shop which was their usual hangout corner in the city. They parked their bicycles, went in and occupied the corner table.
‘Did you guys see that girl?’ said Robin, who was the most studious as well as the most mischievous boy in their group.
‘Which girl?’ Rest of them asked in a chorus, looking around the coffee shop.
‘Oye, I am talking about the girl in the movie… She was so HOT!’
‘I agree yaar’ replied Raghav who used to think about girls 24X7.
‘I am going to rent the dvd and watch those scenes again and again!’ said Aditya.
‘You’ll get bored; why not rent a blue film if you’re so eager?’ asked Raghav.
‘Can’t yaar, all the time someone’s at home…huh! Talk about the disadvantages of being in a joint family!’
‘Do we get blue films on rent in our city? Are you guys kidding?’ asked Dev with a shocking expression on his face.
To this, all four of them were in splits and Aditya fell off from his chair.
‘I can’t believe it, have you guys watched a blue film in real?’ Dev asked again.
Abhi said once he tried to watch it with his cousin but when his mom knocked his room they had to switch it off, rest of them answered “No!”
They all looked at Raghav and said it is impossible from him not to see, to which he said he does not think about girls in ‘that’ manner!
‘How about watching a blue film together?’ asked Abhi ‘All of us haven’t had the experience…What say?’
‘Not possible!’ said Dev ‘We have school till 1, then tuitions from 3 to 7 PM and after that everyone has some or the other family member at home. All of us can’t bunk school or tuition together!’
That was true. ‘Oh! Heck…what do we do now?’ asked Robin as if the whole world came to an end because he’d miss the opportunity of watching an adult movie.
‘Wait… we have no other option but, to WAIT!’ said Raghav.
Next day in school, during the Science period, it was a sheer co-incidence that the teacher started a new chapter on the ‘Reproductive organs’ and while listening to Thomas sir, all five of them were wondering about those scenes which they saw on the previous day. The whole class was paying attention with pin drop silence. Thomas sir was awestruck, because never before did the class pay attention to his lectures. The boys were giggling among themselves and some of them were trying to look at the expression on girls’ faces.
The bell rang indicating that the period got over. Thomas sir who taught them Science and Math, called up Abhi and said ‘The tuition class would be at 5 PM today and not at 3, so please tell rest of the four about this postponement’.
While coming back from school Abhi told Raghav ‘Our wait is over!’
‘What do you mean?’
‘I mean, we are going to watch the movie today. Thomas sir has asked me to tell you guys that the tuition class is at 5 and not at 3’.
All five of them seemed to be so happy as if they had found a gold mine while on a treasure hunt.
Dev was a bit tensed as always and asked ‘Where will we watch it? Who will bring the movie? How are we going to manage? Do we have enough time?’
‘Dev, will you just shut up?’ all of them shouted at him.
‘We’ll watch it at Dev’s place as his parents go to work and rest of us has someone or the other at our places. I’ll bring the CD and all of you be there sharp at 2. The movie won’t be longer than 1.5 hours!’ explained Abhi.
‘When and how did you plan all this?’ asked Robin.
‘As soon as Thomas sir told me about the change in timings, my mind started working like a computer!’
‘Dude, you’re a genius!’

‘You have no idea what difficulties I faced to bring this thing till here!’ said Abhi.
Dev put the cd and switched on his television. The names started showing up.
“INTIMATE SENSATIONS”
‘Ah! What name man…lets hope the movie lives upto its name!’ said Raghav.
‘Damn! I forgot to close the doors and windows said Dev and started running all around the house closing them. He was so tensed he even closed all the bedroom doors.
‘What the heck are you doing? Why do you seem so tensed?’
‘You’ll know that when all of us decide to watch a blue film at your place!’ replied Dev.
‘Give me that pillow’ said Robin and jumped onto a couch, sqeezing the pillow in his hand as if it were not a pillow but something else. All of them took their respective ‘comfortable’ positions before the movie began.
The movie started of showing a man working in an office, a few seconds later a woman comes into his cabin with some files. She was fully covered with clothes and wore large spectacles. They chatted with each other for a few minutes and suddenly started kissing each other wildy as if they were some animals fighting and wanted to get into each others’ mouths; it seemed to them that they were watching some National Geographic programme and not a blue film. Then the woman pushed the man on a couch which was kept in a corner. She, then removed her specs and opened her hair. The man kept on staring.
“She is so HOT!” commented one of them.
‘Awesome’ said the other.
‘She is just…’ said Raghav, gulping and licking his lips.
Robin squeezed the pillow more which Dev saw. He told him ‘Leave that pillow you idiot. My mom has put the new pillow cover on it.’
‘What do you think I’m going to do with it? Let me concentrate on that girl!’
‘I very well know where your concentration will lead you to! Just give the pillow back to me!’
‘Take that!’ said Robin and threw the pillow to his face.
The woman started stripping and the guys stared, suddenly the door bell rang and there was a chaos in the house.
‘Oh! Shit… who can that be?’ Dev said.
All five of them ran here and there. ‘Switch of the television!’ said Aditya.
‘Do not switch off the CD player. If it’s a salesman or the postman, then we’ll have to start again!’ whispered Dev and went towards the door.
‘Take some books and pretend to study!’ said Abhi.
Dev opened the door a little and saw Shalini Aunty, his neighbour standing outside with a tiffin in her hand.
‘Hi Aunty!’
‘Hello beta, your mother was not well today so she told me to give you the lunch and sit with you till you finish it. She said that you are really careless about your eating habits! Now come on, open the door and started eating NOW.’
‘Oh! I was wondering why there wasn’t any lunch on the table today.’ replied Dev.
‘What is that sound?’ asked aunty.
Dev did not realize that when he went to open the door.
‘Oh! Nothing aunty, a few friends have come up for group study. We have a test today!’
‘But I hear a girl’s voice.’
‘One second Aunty.’ Dev closed the door and said,
‘When I told you to just switch off the television, which means you need to lower the volume that comes from the “CD player” you fool. Now switch off the cd player. FAST!’
Aditya sprang towards the main switch and turned it off. When he went back to his place, rest of the three hit him hard on his head.
Dev opened the door and told Shalini aunty that a friend was changing clothes as he directly came here from school. Hence he had to close the door and apologized for the same.
Aunty came in and Dev started eating.
‘Why are you eating so fast?’ asked aunty.
‘I’m hungry like anything!’ and gobbled some more food.
‘If you need more, I’ll bring it for you. Eat slow!’ and then she looked at the other boys whom she saw were studying.
‘Hello boys, what test do you have today?’ she saw Abhi holding a math book which had the Polynomials chapter open.
‘Ah! Polynomials… my favourite. Let me give you guys a few sums by the time Dev eats. You have the same test today. Right?’
The boys could not think of anything. They just nodded. She gave them sums which they sat and just stared at.
They did not solve a single sum as the chapter was yet to be done in school. Aunty sat there till they solved but when the clock struck 4, Dev spoke out,
‘Aunty we need to rush to the tuition class in few minutes. We’ll solve the sums and give it to you tomorrow!’
‘Okay boys, all the best for the test! Dev you lock your home and give the keys to me when you go.’ Saying thus she went away.
‘Now what? How are we going to see that movie? Oh…crap! I don’t think I’ll ever get to watch an adult movie in my life!’ cried Raghav.
Dev took out the CD from the player and threw it at Abhi.
‘Take your sensations and get lost!’
‘Why are you shouting at me? What did I do? Its all because of her!’ shouted Abhi.
‘I know. I am sorry. Now we’ll have to leave as I need to give her the key!’ said Dev.
They locked the house and went to the CD shop to return it as it was on their way to the tuition class.
‘How did you find it guys? Hot na?’ asked Mukesh bhai the owner of the shop.
‘Yes. Nice, nice!’ smiled Robin and gave him the CD ‘Couldn’t watch it, but one day, I WILL!’ he said that to himself.
At the tuition class Thomas sir asked them. ‘You guys aren’t even regular to the class and today you’re earlier than everyone else. Has the sun started setting in the east?’
‘Eager to study, Sir!’ said Aditya. ‘Its 10th std and we need to be serious now!’
‘I am so glad you realized that finally!’ replied Thomas sir and asked them
‘Which new chapter were we going to start today?’
